We had a chance to test this new version of the Surefire Pen. The SureFire Pen II is a great pen. It is solid, well made and writes every time. The button to extend the writing tip clicks into place silently. The all aluminum body is strong enough to use as a defensive tool if necessary

The SureFire Pen II is 5 inches long and weighs 1.6 ounces. Inside is a Schmidt Technology easy FLOW 9000 ink cartridge which writes well even when writing upside down
